Andrew Jackson - CEO & Founder

Andrew is an SEO and digital marketing professional with over 10 years’ specific experience. He teaches courses, such as Digital Marketing, SEO, SEM Fundamentals, and Google Analytics, at BrainStation, the global leader in digital skills training. Previously, he wrote and researched three digital marketing online courses for the University of British Columbia.

Originally from the UK, he has lived and worked in Japan, Germany, Switzerland, Korea, and is now settled in Canada. He has wide-ranging experience in the education, technology, event, and digital media industries, having fulfilled roles as diverse as Marketing Director at a high tech start-up, Digital Marketing Manager at an international boarding school, and Digital Media Specialist for GLOBE, the international symposium on the business of the environment. Andrew has a B.A. in German Studies and a Master of Science in IT, Management & Organizational Change from the Lancaster University Management School, one of the leading business schools in the UK. He is happily married with 3 daughters and lives on the North Shore, a place he is proud to call home.

Ira Thomson - Director of Product & Co-Founder

Ira is North Shore Digital’s Co-Founder & Director of Product. Ira takes a data-driven approach to your website experience and campaign management. He ensures proper technical configuration & tracking of your most important website and campaign events.  He is proficient with multi-platform analytics and reporting tools, such as Google Analytics, Ads, Data Studio, Tag Manager & more which he uses to evaluate user behaviour, reach, engagement and targeting for both organic and paid campaigns. He advises clients on how to translate campaign strategy into campaign tactics using data-driven insights.

Ira is specifically well-versed in our education, health & wellness and tourism industry verticals, with experience working in Digital Marketing at Mulgrave School in West Vancouver, as the International Programs & Marketing Manager at St. George’s High School and Marketing Coordinator at SaaS MetroQuest. Ira is a graduate of UBC with a degree in Economics and graduate level coursework at BCIT in Spatial Data Analytics.

Chris has been helping digital companies grow for over a decade. With experience in all areas of business and marketing, he joins us as Director of Client Relationships. Chris is an expert in sales, business development and how to convert prospects into paying customers in the digital space. Chris comes from a Bachelor of Commerce & Finance academic background in his native Australia and has a proven track record in sales and marketing for QTrade, MetroQuest, PureWeb and more.

Kaan Turker - Marketing & Automations Manager

Kaan is a Google certified partner and inbound marketing specialist. He is a BBA/Marketing graduate, with a passion for digital marketing. Kaan has extensive experience working in digital marketing for private schools and agencies. He is North Shore Digital’s SharpSpring onboarding and integrations specialist and account manager as well as being a whizz in multi-platform integrations in order to improve digital marketing and sales campaigns as well as workplace efficiency. 

Kaan is a continual learner and has taken many online courses to boost his digital skills knowledge, including his inbound marketing certification from HubSpot, and various other courses from Udemy and Google

Carly is a strategic digital marketing professional with more than ten years of content marketing experience. Her mix of creativity and passion for analytics helps companies develop and expand their content marketing strategies. She works closely with our clients to align their website and social media marketing with their business goals; creating and auditing SEO optimized content that converts traffic into leads.

Born and raised in Vancouver, Carly’s worked with some incredible start-ups and non-profits, leading digital strategies from website and app launches to developing international product lines. She’s worked across a variety of sectors, from finance and trades to tech and health care. Passionate about learning and continuing education, Carly received her Search Engine Marketing and Google Analytics certificates from BrainStation.

Sasha Kevac - Marketing Strategist & Web Dev. Manager

Sasha is a driven marketing and BD leader with over a decade of marketing operations experience. His marketing expertise with developing brand identities, leading teams and establishing strategic partnerships equips him with the competitive edge required to make a mark on North Shore Digital’s account strategy.
Sasha has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Northern British Columbia with a joint major in Marketing and International Business. Originally from Sarajevo, Bosnia, Sasha has made the West Coast his home for over 23 years. His background is firmly rooted in the tech and startup space, and he is excited to help our clients reach their full potential. 

Sam Meagher - Google Ads Specialist

Raised in Vancouver, Sam grew up in a landscaping family where he likes to joke that “while other kids were looking forward to summer vacations, he was mowing lawns and trimming hedges.”

He was recruited to the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg on a football scholarship where he received a degree in Environmental Science. After which he began a successful career at Boeing’s Commercial Aircraft Division. This role was forever impacted by the 2008 recession when Sam made a quick call to accept a buy-out, and within a weekend moved to Panama. While in Panama he started his own landscaping company, and discovered his love for marketing, focusing on Google Ads.

Sam joins NSD remotely from Panama, where he still resides with his wife and dog. His extensive expertise in PPC education, certifications, mentors, and personal business experience make him an excellent addition to our team in our Google Ads Specialist role.

Sam now makes up for his lack of summer vacations, by traveling whenever he can.

Harrison is a Digital Marketing Analyst, with expert skills in paid social campaigns & account management. Harrison relishes extracting insights from data, and turning them into actionable recommendations, and is driven by delivering profitable results for clients. He is certified in digital marketing by GoogleFacebook, and Hootsuite. He has extensive experience with Shopify and the Facebook advertising platforms developed during his 3 years working at Kingdom Jewelry, where he worked as a digital marketer while studying at UBC.

Harrison is a UBC Sauder School of Business graduate, achieving his Bachelor of Commerce Degree (BCom) with a specialization in Entrepreneurship, and a secondary focus in Marketing. His education at UBC allowed him to develop strong skills in financial analysis, business model planning & development, and digital marketing. These skills are particularly in-demand with North Shore Digital clients across all our focus verticals.
